PF# crashes when tune to ATIS
new computer. trying to run PF3 with P3Dv4 ran fine on old computer, but I had to do a few things to get it running on the old computer.
I have already run "DXruntime" and installed ".net framework 3.5 and a few others"
Tried install ".net framework 4.5, and 4.8" windows said I have a new version already.
There was also no chime when the in sim window showed frequencies.
thanks for the help, and all your work with the updates and changes needed to work with new sims.

It appears you have some system DirectX files missing so would suggest the following:

Download the Microsoft DirectX for Managed Code Runtimes, using the following link:-

http://www.ocs-support.co.uk/downloads/ ... ntimes.zip

Once downloaded you need to unzip the content into a temporary folder anywhere on your system, then run the downloaded EXE. You will be prompted for a location to copy the extracted files into, so just choose the same temp folder.

Once that's done go into the temp folder and right-click the 'DXSetup.exe' program and then select 'Run as Administrator'

This will NOT alter any of your currently installed DirectX files but merely installs any missing runtimes in parallel
Once the DirectX Runtimes are installed please try running PF3 again and connecting to FS and let me know what happens. You can also delete the downloaded runtimes and temp folder if you wish

I had already done that and it didn't work.
I did some looking around on what was not installed on my new computer that was on the old one.
I found I did not have simconnect 10 on the new computer.
I installed that and now PF3 is working just fine like it use to.
Thanks for trying, and thanks for all the updates to PF3. It runs better than ever, and I like the updated ATC instructions in flight.
A few new voices would be great, and I am sure we would a chip in a few dollars for them.
in health

How very strange. PF3 doesn't use simconnect.
