I fail to obtain a successful update from 3.0.0 to 3.10.30 using either the update function built into PF3 or using the downloaded cumulative update option downloaded from and covered in this forum.

I ensure my antivirus is disabled and that I am using administrator mode.

I have even tried the runtime 339 error fix by updating my systems register mentioned in this forum. Though my CSF.ocx file seems to stored in the PF3 folder and not in the Updates folder but moved to either folder makes no difference trying to register it.

Whatever I try I end up with a failed update and unable to access PF3 other than receive the runtime 339 error.

I have decided for now to reluctantly console myself with just having version 3.0.0 and hope someone armed with knowledge greater than my meager one can point me to the solution. To this end:-

I attach a zip file which has the startup and debug monitor logs and 3 .png shots of the outcomes when trying to register, the runtime error and the point where the cumulative update/update hangs and either causes a system restart (which generates a debug log) or remains looping indefinitely until I interrupt the process hours later (which does not generate a debug log).

Thanks in advance for any solutions.

Tony

Running the cumulative updates package should be straight forward but you will need to run it with elevated Administrator rights... that mights right-clicking the installer and then selecting 'Run as Administrator'

If that doesn't help I'm more than happy to have a look at your system using TeamViewer and see what the problem is
