Despite a mnaual ipdate last time (as instructed), the autopmatic update is still not working for me. The error message received is:

. . . it never gave me the option to!

So I downloaded the manual update to 3.10.3 and installed that. All went as it should but now I have a problem in that my co-pilot no longer responds to instructions in CP Mode 1. I haven't changed any settings, is there something I need to change?

Logs attached.

John

There's a nitwit round here and it ain't you!

He might even be a double nitwit because I think I should be in CP Mode 2 although I'm not sure if the switch was caused by the upgrade or a slip of the mouse. In CP Mode 1 I did additionally try and acknowledge with C-S-\ though, maybe that key is tied up by something else.

I won't have a chance to test it out until tomorrow.

Fresh set of logs attached if of use. Apologies if I am wasting your time on this.

John

In the old debug log your CP Mode was indeed set to #1 so he/she/they will only change frequencies. In the latest log you have it set to 2 and everything there seems to be working correctly.

Going back to the old log, you say you tried to roger the command using C+S+\, you actually used C+S+Y, which of course is the wrong hotkey.

Hi Dave,

I tried both key combinations, actually. But it is not important.

What is more important is that everything is running perfectly again. I can only guess that I clumsily changed the setting while changing the callsign. It must have been no more than coincidence I did that at the time of upgrading - sorry to have taken up your time.

Talking of upgrading - is there a way I can fix that path for the automatic upgrades. I assume there is a setting somewhere, but I can't find it.

Best regards,

John

There's no such setting and that is a problem reported by one other so far which I still need to get to the bottom of. It would be good to see all the log files from your PF3\Updates folder please, if you could attach them here.

If it is only myself and A N Other affected, the time and effort probably isn't really justified.

For what its worth, the updates log files are attached.

Best regards,

John
