Thanks Dan, Yep, it works very well, when it's a single arrival point for multiple runways, like in JFK. But for arrivals with transitions to multiple runways, it's harder to set up. Well, it is till possible, if you change designation of runways, and adjust weather to meet the conditions for landin...

Hello pilots. As this is not a problem report of specific flight, there is no debug attached ;) I have decided to move my flying in USA and get more practice on flying in to giant airports with a lot of runways and more complicated approach procedures. Almost all the time I am flying with SID/STAR t...

They did. Thanks a lot to everyone, appreciate it so much. The thing is that I am only fanatic pilot and don't know how it works in real world. I was always thinking, that aviation is very strict and every single step needs to be carried out with precision "as in the book". Never knew that...

Thanks Dan, Very good point about hand off to tower. In my case I was handed and had enough time to be cleared to land. What I have notice regarding hand off to tower, that if I declare missed approach (that was on other flight), then I am handed to approach again and when established on ILS on retu...

Ok, got it. I do use navigraph charts for every single flight and I am familiar with procedures for Salzburg. In FAQ's about situations like this, it sais to hit hot key #1 and ask to be cleared to finals. So when this should be done? Reaching last point? If it's so, is it not better just to activat...

I've been flying with PF3 without problems for a long time and this post is not a problem report, I would just like to understand more how this software works. So wanted to fly to Salszburg (LOWS). This airport in general is complicated for landings, but wanted to see how ATC will handle vectoring f...

Hi Dave, As recommended I have updated to last version. Unfortunately "check for updates" didn't work, so did it manually by downloading cumulative setup program. Looks like everything worked fine. So back to the same flight now. Unfortunately still same issue. Approach is telling me to co...

Happy New Year everyone! While somebody is celebrating, somebody is flying :D I am trying to get some new experiences with PF3 flying to uncontrolled airports, but every time having problems with landings. Not sure is this the problem with P3D, but when I reach last point and approach gives me last ...

Thanks Dave, I think after your explanation I finally now understand where I was making mistake, so I want to share it. As Arlanda airport is a base airport for my flights, I have a default flight set up on P3D, so every time I launch it is the same. After it's launched I think of where I want to fl...
