In Radar Contact 4.3 there's an option that ,when ticked, will make atc instruct you to do something only if you can. I see your point and agree. But still I think is good to have this capability just to avoid being vectored CFIT. Maybe as a last resource in case you haven't set a STAR or minimum safe final app min altitude. All you have to do is to ensure that the approach phase of your fpl does not go any lower ...

Strange!! It would be impossible for the PFE uninstaller to remove it so I have no idea why you've lost the latest version. Anyway, just use the cumulative installer to reinstall 3.6 updates, which you can get from the above 'New Maintenance Release' post http://www.ocs-support.co.uk/forums/viewtop...

When you say and now (in pf3) the display field that is supposed to show the altitude to the right of the next waypoint is not showing anymore I have to assume it was showing before you uninstalled PFE. I had pfe and pf3 installed at the same time. I uninstalled pfe and now (in pf3) the display field that is supposed to show the altitude to the right of the next waypoint is not showing anymore ?

Any hint/help appreciated.
