Hi,
Hard drive failure has resulted in the loss of my download files, serial numbers, etc.

Can I retrieve my copy of PF3 somehow? I do have original activation details.

Thanks, Jim

Hi Thomas, I must apologise. I've become lazy and forgetful in my old age. I'd become accustomed to seeing the correct Clearance frequency on screen initially and it didn't appear in Rift view. I use Flight Sim Commander for flight planning, and remembered I could get clearance frequency from airpor...

Hi,
Is anyone able to use PF3 while flying P3D in a VR headset? I had an initial try, but since FSUIPC messages don't appear in my Rift view, I couldn't make initial contact.

Regards, Jim

Hi All, Thanks for all your comments. You've helped me get PF3 working smoothly. I must confess to taking too much for granted, then struggling while blind to the outside world while in the Rift. I now know: FS Commander sets user waypoints and designates them "Intersections". (I did re-in...

Hi, Could I have some advice about planning a flight (to be used with PF3) with the least number of waypoints? I'm flying in an Oculus Rift, and having to abandon my networked monitor where Flightsim Commander used to reside. I'm now using a GTN 750 for navigation. The 750 requires flightplans to be...

Thanks for the correction. Is there any special way of calling up the Display Utility?

I've put a shortcut to it on my desktop, but I don't think I mentioned that I nowadays fly with an Oculus Rift, and have to find ways of getting around my new "blindness".

Hi again,

Thanks once again for your advice.

I've initiated three flights from EGLC, EGBB, and EGPK. Each time I was able to contact Tower by pressing 1 and 6, if necessary, and although I don't think display utility works with P3D, I can access the info in the .dat file.

Cheers, Jim

Thanks a lot, Guys!

I am using UK2000 London City.

Sorry about confusing Ground, Tower, and Departure.

I'll try your suggestions, and have a look for the Display Utility.

Regards, Jim

Hi, Could I have some advice about reaching the "real" holding point, and how to contact Departure if my copilot remains silent. How to find departure frequency would help. This is happening too often for comfort. I don't mind finding that I'm doing something wrong. I'd like to describe an...
