I may be overlooking the users manual section that gets to the heart of my questions - but how do I cut back on the number of voices/accents used in a region? Here's my issue - I fly almost exclusively in the US...primarily on the west coast of the US. And on almost every flight I get an ATC or airc...

So with the skies getting more full each day with AI aircraft and PF3 interacting with them when needed - I'm wondering if it's possible to add a little more chatter to the PF3 controllers. My thought/questions is whether it's possible to have ATC interact with random AI traffic ("American 693 ...

For the AI traffic the best set of working s/w i've found is the following combo (all available via flightsim.to): "Easy airlines+aircraft matching with default live traffic" by Headwind - that provides pretty good model matching for live flights Follow each step in his setup directions......

So I've been flying using the standalone AI traffic injector called Enhanced Live Traffic from Mr Propper (flightsim.to) and I'm very happy to realize that Pf3 fully interacts with these FlightRadar24 live traffic injects... Using the right callsigns or tail numbers as appropriate. Obviously it uses...

I'm having the same issue - even some major airfields with ATIS don't display when using the 'request ATIS' command. And the vast majority of AWOS stations simply report no ATIS is available.

Thanks, I'll just stick with the 'own navigation to final' options from now on. I guess it does make. Sense that the 'field in sight' command is more for VFR as it always requests cancelation right after.

Thanks for the response.

So when I'm flying IFR IRL to an airfield and see the airfield and can safely remain clear of weather to land I'd declare runway in sight...cancel IFR...and proceed with a visual approach. PFE3 provides the command to declare RW in sight with approach...but what does that do? Or better yet - what do...

Ok, so doing my normal AM flight with the CRJ in MSFS (which is awesome if you haven't tried it). I'm flying from Mammoth Lakes (KMMH), CA, USA to San Louis County (KSBP), CA, USA. Short flight...about an hour...which is perfect for my morning flight time. I do the SID out of KMMH and get the expect...

Perfect - worked as advertised. Thank you.

Guess I didn't read the documentation closely enough. :geek:

I didn't see anything in the user guide covering this so I'll ask it here - when approaching the airport and receiving the initial approach instructions - is there a way to request a different runway/approach? For example - coming into Santa Barbra yesterday I was well setup for a RW07 approach but ...
