Sorry, doesn't mean anything to me I'm afraid.

I'd be interested to hear from any other long haulers if they experienced this or not. My 'guess' is the later.

It seems to always happen while inserting FMC info. like a runway change. Like I said, this problem has been following me from XP and another computer to this W7 and new computer. I did get about 8 flights since last time it happened, but I am gun shy now. I wish I could solve it, I really do like the program. :(

So how do you know there's a problem? Does PFE disappear? Does FS crash? Have you checked in Task Manager to see if PFE is still running?

Flight sim hangs, no black/blue screen, sound is there, but no response from sim, not even after waiting for minutes........FS9 and PFE not responding in Task Mgr. and of course the event viewer attached in previous post points to PFE. I know it is not acrft because I use various planes, it is not Active Sky Evolution, as I did not have this version on last computer, and that is all I have running for sim. I do use another ATC as well as PFE ( not at the same time of course), and no issues. I just don't understand why I seem to be the only one w/ this problem. All else w/ PFE operates just fine, and I did run Pro Flight when it first came out....no problems. In the event viewer, it is always PFE not FS9 where the error is occuring. It does not happen on every flight, and sceneries do not seem to be the problem since it happens at random. I don't know where else to look for the cause. I wish someone on the forum could examine the event viewer info and tell us what it means, that could help us both alot. I did complete a 13 hour plus flight yesterday, not using PFE, so duration is not the issue.

If all you use is active sky and PFE, i'd say why not switch to FSX and see if it fixes the problem? Who knows

FSX, I have it...don't like it...too much invested in FS9, and my stuff looks just as good as FSX. Just wish I had a round world :) P.S. Kind of looking forward to Aerosoft to see what they come up with....

Well at least you'd know whether the problem lies with FS9+PFE or something else
