Post subject: | Many problems getting ATC to use same flightplan as me |
Hi, I registered here because only 1/3 flights with PFE go as planned. Maybe it's because I'm not exporting/using flightplans right. I've tried both vroute and FSBUILD 2 Here's an example of many (I'm using the latest PFE): I just made a plan from TNCC to TNCM with FSbuild. I saved it as FS9/FSX pln just to be sure. When I tried to adjust it for FS2000 it says "not compatible file or no adjustments required" (this doesn't happen with vroute). Okai fine, and it compiles fine. I adjust the FP for FSX and load it up in my flightplan so I can compare the legs to the ones in my FMC. I re-checked the .gps file to see if the legs are the same and they are: I load up the ADV and all is good. However during the flight, the ATC wants me to turn right 140 degrees the whole time. It spams me all the time every 1min. It doesn't make any sense because there's nothing there, there's no reason to go 140 right. Check the screen: ![]() So then after ATC asking me 20x, I'm like "okai, whatever man, I'll go right 140" Then 30seconds later: ![]() WTF?? So i go back to my LNAV and it starts over "turn right 140" AARG!!!!!! What is the best way to export a flightplan and have PFE actually follow it? Sometimes it just says "turn left 45" (also doesn't make sense) but then it says "resume own navigation" and all is fine. I also have other problems where the ATIS says "rwy in use 01 departure" and then PFE says use rwy 06 Thanks |

Hi, i think you did not get a satisfied reply from the support.. for this case i have to tell you: I´m using PFE since 2 years and i know this assue appeared dozens of times on my flights for strong annoying. But my experience is, that it only occours on the second flight with PFE. And now i shut down PFE after my first flight- and i restart it again and this strange heading direction from ATC did no once more happen. Otherwise has PFE many bugs -- but i learned to live with that, but it is the only alternative to FSX ATC and Radar Contact.. bye Walter / Munich-Germany |

@Squishy:-Have you followed all tutorials,i use FS Build with no problems and never have that issue...and please refrain from using terminology as WTF in your posts.. @Walter:-What reply are you on about, are you expecting someone to respond within 60seconds of posting,we all work and come on a various times of the day. And what bugs has PFE got that you have learned to live with? |

Hey Dave, I posted an issue yesterday(paris control)and I still haven't gotten a reply. Also, there are other threads in the past couple of days that haven't been answered to. Regards |

I'm sorry. I copied that bit from avsim forums, hehe I've been there a bit longer. I can't seem to edit my post anymore? Yes I did read most of the tutorial. But what can you do wrong? All I do is enter TNCC to TNCM in fsbuild --> select FS9/FSX export > autogen. It exports the file --> convert to FS2000 (error). I manually put the file into the correct folder and compile it. Can you compile the .PLN from FSbuild, TNCC>TNCM? You should be able to replicate the problem in 30 seconds. I haven't seen the problem so bad with Vroute, and it does convert to FS2000 without error. But it would often send me to a weird heading right after T/O completely in the wrong direction. Thanks |

The bit i have highlighted concerns me a bit.. Manually put file into folder, you shouldn't need to do that at all. Have you selected the Pilots folder at the beginning when setting up PFE and obviously the FS FP folder? |

Normally I don't get the error, but I assumed I got it now because it didn't have to remove any wps? Can you try it? All you need to do is enter TNCC and TNCM, then autogen and export the pln. I haven't changed anything else (well, CRZ alt and b737-800) |

For each flight within the sim during the same session PFE has to be closed and reopened. Otherwise it seems to get progessively and very confused. vololiberista |
