Post subject:  FDC compatibility with Ifly 737 NG FsX
I just purchased Ifly 737 NG for FSX and have been tring to see if it is compatibile with FDC?
I apoligize if tis question is redundant. I am new to this board and tried to search but found very little.

Hi,
Don't see why not...

FDC works with just about all aircraft in the FS community as far as i am aware,sometimes a little tweaking is required but the results are worth it!!

I bought the pmgd 737 800 ng. ( could never go back to default now :D )

I have been using FDC for a few months now and enjoy it, up until now I have been able to create profiles for non default however this new 737 has got me stumped.

How to create a profile for pmgd 737 ng ? It fits the default profile perfectly and makes all the right calls as the default 737 so there is nothing to modify EXCEPT none of the switches (apart from park brake) work. Im not fussed about the small stuff but the gear and falps wont work even though VC calls them at the right time

Any thoughts anyone am I doing something wrong ? I think it would be a great idea if you guys created a profile to fit the PMGD series as they are becoming very popular.

Hi Cheapcharlie,
PMDG won't release the coding so we could use it to configure FDC for there products,so i'm afraid we have to do with the best we can,Dave M has asked,but they wouldn't co-operate...sorry

No probs I now have 2 crews, the one that is built specifically for PMDG (doesnt work other than PMDG) and FDC for every other aircraft .
