I have recently acquired FDC and I have a query about 'not listed' aircraft. So far, two of my aircraft are failing to connect because of a flap mismatch. One is the Dornier 328 Turboprop from Premier Aircraft Design and the other is the standard Airbus A321. I have taken care to check the settings but in both cases, the software reports that I have specified 'n' number of flap settings but the panels report zero flap détentes. How can I get around this please and if I specify zero flap settings, does this mean that I have to manually operate the flaps? For information, the Premier Aircraft BAE 146-200 and Fokker 100 work fine as do various Project Airbus and Project Opensky aircraft. ![]() Thanks |

A321 uses PIC A320 profile...i'd have to see the aircraft.cfg of your turboprop to advise which profile would work best.. |

Hi Dave, happy to send a copy of the CFG file for the Dornier, what is the best way to get this over? Should I try a variation of the A320 PIC file? |

email the aircraft.cfg to me at david.leesley@hotmail.co.uk The A320 PIC profile works just fine with the A321.. |

I understand that, thanks. I have now come across the same problem with an Embraer 190 from Premier aircraft design. Is there something in the aircraft.cfg file that I should be looking for? I tried setting flap settings to zero but no dice. Thanks. |

Hi Mark, you have 3 options here:- One is to create yourself a profile for your aircraft. Two is to goto aircraft tab,select aircraft for this flight,select "not listed" from dropdown box and from your aircraft.cfg flaps section tick all the boxes that apply for example and uncheck the ones you don't need.. flaps-position.1 = 2 // degrees = Flaps 2 flaps-position.2 = 8 // degrees = Flaps 10 flaps-position.3 = 15 // degrees = Flaps 15 flaps-position.4 = 30 // degrees = Flaps 30 flaps-position.5 = 37 // degrees = Flaps 35 flaps-position.6 = 40 // FULL = Flaps 40 Alter V1 Vr and V2 boxes to suit yourself and the third option is to see what profiles from stock or ones that have been posted on our website and or www.flightsim.com that might suit your aircraft.... hope this helps |
