Post subject:  Trojan Virus in Cumulative Update??

I just found out that my version of PFE is 1.8.4 and the latest version is 2.14 (I purchased my copy about a week ago and have auto update turned on so don't know why I'm so out of date -- 6 months :?: )
Anyway I went to this page viewtopic.php?f=4&t=12to dowload the latest cumulative update.
When I downloaded it I got a message from my Kapersky anti-virus software that there was a Trojan virus in the file -- see screenshot.
Any idea what's going on as I'm sure there is no virus?
Thanks
Alan

You're correct in your assumption, there is no virus in the update file and your anti virus is throwing up a false positive.

Thanks Dave that's what I thought. I will have to turn Kapersky off while I download. I guess Kapersky stopped the auto update too.
Any idea why I was so out of date with so recent a purchase?

The best way is to add PFE folder to exclusion list of your AV, otherwise it may delete few files later.

From PCAviator.com I guess it was old stock to be out of date.

I did that (but afterwards). Not sure that would work for a download though, as adding the PFE folder only tells Kapersky to ignore any activity from there. It may however allow automatic updates.
Thanks
Alan
