Can you not get ATC to say QNH and QFE instead of "altimeter" The whole world except N America says QNH/QFE Why should we bend to the exception?

That's what the original 44 voice authors had recorded and that's what the additional 60 voice authors recorded. Now, if I could contact all 100+ of them there's a possibility we may succeed in your request but my guess is it's a slim chance

Apparently editvoicepack for FSX says it. Perhaps you could "borrow" it from there!!!!

It just does not work that way. Apples and oranges. The voice packs for FS atc are a whole different technology.

In theory, new words can be created from existing sound material, using the same principle of cutting and pasting pieces together but it is really dependant on the voice set whether it sounds just barely tolerable or plain horrible.

An example I quickly put together out of four different PFE phrases I earlier recorded myself for my own use

The sheer amount of manual work is a lot so it may not be feasible in a larger scale.

Not only is N America the only country that uses inches and "Altimeter" instead of millibars and QNH/QFE but I do have it on good authority that it's the only place in the Universe that does it!!!! :D
