Hi guys,

I have another problem with ATC sounds, but this time all files are present but message is not played, it also dissapears very quickly and moreover, my copilots response is not complete, here's piece of logfile:

The problem is, that this message is quite important as you can see ;) Is there anything that can be done about it?

how upto date is your Dot Net Framework??

That could be your problem....only a guess on my part

A laborious job but try playing each of those files using windows media player

I'm using Framework 4, exactly latest 4.0.30319, but I have just removed it and installed again, I'll check if it helped anyhow in few hours.

It took less than five minutes, all files were played correctly. I forgot to add, that all I can hear from copilot confirmation sentence are only last words: "699 Hotel Heavy".

I'll report back after test flight with reinstalled NET Framework.

Reinstalling NET Framework didn't help, tomorrow I'll try version 3.5 because 4.x gives me errors in few more apps like AivlaSoft EFB or occasionally ASE.

I've had similar experiences where sounds have not played despite being present on my system, the usual cuplrit being a 'continue approach' call. I did mention it to Dave in a series of emails regarding the missing .wav files disussed elsewhere but I've not had any solution offered.

I have just copied all the loose wav files pfchat 330A to Q into all the pfeFlight folders that contain only wav files,these files were copied to PFE-FS2000-Adv-Wav folder and not into the required folders.
I checked a recent de-bug file and some of these files were missing from transcript,so taking a gamble here...if someone could try this to see if it corrects the problem as i wont be able to check till friday due to work commitments..
I do have all PFE backed up first incase of problems,so make backup of FS2000 folder to be on safe side...

got the same problem too, many "Error in NET SaySentence: Error in the application" in my log.

i fixed it by adding accumulative update and runtime then changed the voice atc, and pilot voice selection (english new) (also the compagny name but not sure if this helped)

after that all the sound was played corectly.
