Just lately when I'm going thru the check lists with FDC and PFE on, the radios go off, sometimes the whole panel as well. It's just like something is flicking the battery switch. I have checked all the options in FDC and PFE but cant find the culprit. If it was just a case of switching the battery switch on again it wouldn't be a problem, but the only way I can continue is to go back to the select aircraft page and select the same aircraft (The default 747-400)... To test, did a flight with PFE, not using FDC, and all went well.
Am I missing something?

If this is happening with the default 747 I can't see it being anything to do with fdc. Is fdc configured to turn the avionics off by any chance?

Thank's Dave, fdc was not configured to turn the avionics off, and it's still happening, however, found a fix.
Checking in the FSX, options, key commands, found there was no key assigned to the avionics on/off, so I assigned a key. The radios still turn off for some strange reason, but using the assigned key turns them on again.
