Post subject:  FDC Missed approach

I normaly fly IFR, i use Loc\Vor loc and Ils, letting the plane allign itself manualy with the runway and ILS down de glidslope so i usualy take over manualy when i appraoch minimus, around that point sometimes even before it will say setting missed approach altitude set etc, but i have no problem landing. sometimes ATC my say that as well and I dont know why that is.
Sometimes i glide a little to the side after removing the aupilot and Im not centered with runway, does this trigger missed approach as well?

You are supposed to set a missed approach altitude on the MCP when you have intercepted the GS regardless of whether you are actually going around or landing, you are preparing for the eventuality.
