Post subject:  HOT KEYS FOR FLIGHT DECK ANNOUNCEMENT and CHECKLIST
Dear Sirs,

just bought and installed on my PC(Windows7) FDC Live Cockpit 2011!
I have the following problems:

1) hot keys for flight announcemntes do not work
2) I am confused : what do I have to hit for "-" after CTRL and "\" ? for example CTRL\A,B...Z ? or CTRL -\-A,B...Z ?
3) There are two different informations on the manual "CTRL-\- and on help on line CTRL+\key on Hotkey setup : what is right?
4) CTRL-SPACEBAR and CTRL-SHIFT-SPACEBAR for next and previous checklist do not work

Have you added some flight deck announcements which you are trying to activate with hot keys?

Ctrl+\+A means press and hold down the ctrl and the \ keys then press and release the A key.

For those checklist hotkeys to work you need to switch to manual checklists, have you done that?

Thank you Dave for your quick reply:

1)No, I have not added any flight deck annoucement, just using default
2) I press as you wrote me CTR+\+A,B, C etc..., but no flight deck announcement
3) Yes I switched to manual, but after the first introduction" OK, today...." I cannot step forward to next checklist

The only commnad working are: CTRL-SHIFT-A and CTRL-W; the others do not work

What announcements are you expecting to great when hitting ctrl+\+A ?

Are you sure the checklist hotkeys you are trying typo use are actually activated. Why not go to the hotkeys page and try some other combinations

Again thanks Dave for your very quick reply.
All hot keys are activated by default : I did not change anything from first installation.
But maybe I misunderstood: According Manual page 18 , should be available 26 flight deck announcements ( from A to Z) .
Are these announcements already recorded in FDC ?

No, you can add up to 26 which you can play individually by using hotkeys or scroll through them one at a time, but you have to add the files yourself
