Good day,

This isn't a specific issue with FDC but I'm hoping someone on her may come up with an answer.

I was wondering if anybody knows of any software (if such exists) that will batch process WAV files and change the volume. I am wanting to "pump up" the add-on voice set of David Leesley and to do it one file at a time does not appeal.

(Yes, I do know of the ability to adjust volumes in FDC but my problem lies with some other software I use alongside that sounds unacceptably loud if I turn all the FDC volumes except this one down.)

Best wishes,

John

Thanks - but for a single project at, cough, $299 I think I shall pass on that . . .

Just a note to close the subject by saying I found a command-line utility at https://neon1.net/prog/normalizer.html which seems to do the job quickly and efficiently. Just mentioning this in case anybody else wants to do the same. I am currently experimenting with an amplification setting there of 250.

Hopefully this will nicely solve my imbalance of sound between FDC and other software.

Kindest regards,

John
