Hello

I've some problems with ATC. Every time, it's the same thing. An example this morning during a flight between LFBO and LFLC.

1- ATC seem to be crazy :
Before landing at LFLC (Winds : 170)
- The ATIS give "Runway 26 in use"
- After the landing clearance request, The ATC give to me the clearance for the runway 08 (position 1 to land) but immediatly give to another flight a clearance for the runway 26, at the same time.
Result : two landings at the same time, one on runway 08 and the other on runway 26 !!!!! :o

I use the last version of PFE, Aismooth and AI Separation (with the good settings from the manual).

2- After landing, the request "taxi to runway" seem to not work correctly. I must wait some minutes before the answer from Ground Control

I don't know if this is due to some wrong settings in PFE, but can you help me to solve these problems ? Thank you :)

Okay, just checked the log... basically a timing issue that would not be that easy to overcome.

First time PFE checked (09:29) for the active runway, following your ATIS request, at LFLC there were no AI aircraft currently assigned to land so we used the wind direction which was 260 at the time. When we checked again (10:01) the wind was still at 260. However, when we checked at 10:04 the wind was at 172 and at that point you were told to expect vectors to runway 8. You were then cleared at pilots discretion to runway 8 30 seconds before we checked again an found AI using runway 26 but after being cleared at pilots discretion PFE would not issue a change of runway.

Ok thank you.

When I read you, it seem that this problem is a unusual case. It's right ?

If I understand correctly, a solution is to stop AI Traffic (UT2 for me) when I see this problem ?

Yes I believe it's unusual and you can always ask for another runway after it's been assigned

Ok. If possible, on airports with more than one runway, I'll try this solution if I've the problem again :)

If I encounter this problem again, I come back :D

You may get the problem again if the same set of circumstances arise, there is nothing that can be done about it though apart from making sure the wind direction isn't variable at the airport and is at least 4 knots or more too.
