I use the webdisplay in MSFS (ingame - in community folder) now for the first time ! And I must say, it is really well integrated ![]() The first thing I do, however, is to press the 'Hide default commands' button so that my display is 'tidied up' and I'm not cluttered with too much information (which isn't correct anyway) ! However, the next time I open the window, this useless shortcut information is displayed again and I have to click it away again, and again, and.... My question: Is there perhaps an entry in PF3WebDisplay.ini to make this shortcut info disappear permanently ? Maybe I have overlooked something ![]() regards ggerolamo |

There is currently no option to automatically hide the default commands when opening the page - I'll take a look to see what I can do.I'm not sure what you mean by the default command list not being correct, I will check but I believe that the default PF3 command keys shown are correct. But do please let me know if you are seeing default command key information that you feel is incorrect and I will investigate further. If you have customised the command keys that you use for PF3 then you can provide the updated mapping by creating a custom PF3_Disp.dat file. This is described in the PF3 Display Utility Program section of the PF3 User Guide - see section 16.3 for details. The same file will be used by Web display if the option DispDat=Y is set in your PF3WebDisplay.ini file - refer to PF3Webdisplay.pdf for details. Hope this helps, Martin |

THX for your quick reply, yes, I know that I can customize the corresponding file (PF3_Disp.dat) myself - but to be honest, that's much too tedious for me ![]() And as long as I don't change this info manually, it is of course not correct... ![]() As I said, I don't need this information at all and would therefore like to deactivate this 'shortcut' display permanently! THAT was my actual concern - is this possible via PF3WebDisplay.ini ? regards ggerolamo edit: PS: sorry, I must have missed it - it's probably not possible to remove it ![]() Thanks for your answer anyway !!! |

As I said before, there is currently no option to completely remove the default command list. What I have been able to do, as a quick fix for you, is to update the template so that the commands are initially hidden - otherwise it's as before. Unzip the file template.pf3w into your Web Display folder, it replaces the existing file - it will show as template release 2.4.99 Going forward I will need to think about how this might be made configurable, but hopefully this will meet your needs for the moment. Wow, thank you so much ![]() That's exactly how I imagined it! That really wouldn't have been necessary - thanks again - really very friendly and helpful of you ... ![]() best regards ggerolamo |
