This is where we provide interim (beta) versions of PF3, giving you the opportunity to try any new features or fixes before the next major release. It also helps us to have more people testing and feeding back with any issues found. The attached ZIP file will normally only contain two files, PF3.exe and the BetaReadMe.txt which contains details about the changes and any other important relevant information. PLEASE READ the BetaReadMe.txt file Please always make a copy of your existing PF3.exe file before applying this so you will be able to step back should you find the beta version unusable. Simply unzip the attached PF3.exe into your main PF3 folder. Any problems should be reported by posting to THIS thread and please remember to include your debug log where necessary Enjoy! |

No issues EGLC-LFPB, vectored departure and arrival, using FSLTL for traffic. I find that if I keep the last enroute waypoint 20+ miles away from the airport there are no problems with the vector for the approach. One question: Is there a way for PF3 to say "cleared the RNAV approach [runway]" rather than "cleared the ILS [runway]" ? |

Unfortunately it's not in the PF3 vocabulary |

Not sure what happened here, RJOO-RJTT. All went well with reasonable vectors and speed control but the last cleared altitude for the vectored ILS22 at RJTT was 9000'. I had the FAF altitude set to 2000' Did I miss an altitude clearance? |

Okay, there was a problem with PF3 not using a user set FAF altitude in some circumstances. This has now been fixed and will be in the next beta release. As a workaround for now just set you FAF Altitude for this flight to 3,000' |
