Strange Approach

Strange one this!. Everything OK until vectored to intercept ILS on a heading I would never intercept ILS on. I was parallel to ILS. I changed heading myself to intercept ILS.

When established was not transferred over to tower so I tuned tower manually but PF3 would not respond to me for the rest of the flight.

Tried Cntr+Shift+T for hot key menu but nothing appeared. The background chatter I was hearing was from/to tower so I was tuned into the tower

When contacting Tower at your destination you should have used Hotkey #1 not #0
