In the noble, if futile, pursuit of flightsim perfection, can I ask...

I thought that there was an algorithm (?) in PF3 which prevented the pilot and ATC voices being the same at any given time. Maybe not. Not vitally important, clearly, but it does sound a bit strange (like I am talking to myself - though now I come to think of it, I do do that real-world, so I suppose it shouldn't sound so odd!).

Log attached (I recall when being asked to descend to FL160 and then FL140, the two voices were identical).

Hi Martin,
yes there is away to stop it...on Options #1 i believe, there is a tab called exclude voices and depending which voice you don't want just click on checkbox and hopefully you won't hear yourself again... ;)

No that shouldn't happen Martin but it does raise its ugly head now and again unfortunately.

Hi. I don't think the problem is with any particular voice: if I restricted any given one, chances are it would happen with another. Some regions don't have that many voices to choose from anyway, so removing one might not be the best way to go.

... best I just 'turn a blind ear' to it, in that case
