1) Error of pf3_display.exe v. 10.02.2024: No query of the IP address or computer name at 1st call (input mask does not appear)

2) Error in pf3_display.exe from 04.03.2024 (new): Input mask appears, the entry is not accepted, the input mask remains. Pf3_display.ini is created,
but with entry PF3Server=0.0.0.0.
Manual entry of the computer name leads to error message - Error in 'Main'_subscript out of range Loc 0 -

3) pf3_display.exe from 31.12.2021 works

It is already working a little further:

1) The computer name is now ntered correctly in pf3_display.ini.
2) The port used is entered in the red field (Currently using Port 1010)
3) The red field does not disappear, the connection is not yet established.

Try deleting your PF3_Display.INI file

It most certainly works here

Also PF3 Display will not connect to PF3 until PF3 has connected to FS

I have now emptied the PF3_Displayer folder again except for pf3_disp.dat. Then copied the pf3_display.exe from 04.03.2024 (version 4.1.0.9) into the folder, started the program, entered the computer name in the mask provided and exited the program with 'Exit'.
I then checked the newly created pf3_display.ini, everything was ok.
MSFS started, PF3 started, flight plan loaded, PF3 connected to the MSFS. PF3_display.exe started and this time the program connected to PF3. Everything works as it should.

Thanks for the support

Detlef
