Good day, Dave,

A curious clearance today, I don't remember this happening before.

On a flight from HKMO (3839 ft ASL) I was give clearance to 4000 ft. Being a naughty boy I kept climbing until handed off to Departure who then gave me a suitable altitude to climb to. Otherwise the flight went fine.

I think you may have attached the wrong log John :o

Its the correct log but it sounds like I had the wrong ears attached. Could have sworn to good man said 4000! How embarrassing.

I will pay more attention in future! Sorry to have taken your time.
