So in the same flight while approaching I was getting multiple step downs of 500ft from 11000 ft towards 6000 ft and then one step to 3500 ft.
Also every step down was repeated by ATC.
Never had that before.
Cheers,
Luc

Mmmmh, looks like I might have messed things up in this latest beta... I will check it out but it won't be till tomorrow I'm afraid.

I'm not on a schedule, I'm already happy I can do one flight a day, take your time! :)

Just for your info and documentation, another flight with multiple step downs.
Also, once I reached FL190 I get multiple instruction from ATC to maintain FL190?
Later I got instruction to descend to FL190 and the CP replied "descending to FL190 from FL200"?
Instruments showed FL190 all the time and barometer on STD. Log attached.
Also after FP clearance CP didn't switch frequency to ask for taxi. But there was no GROUND freq so I manually switched to TOWER and asked for taxi.
At the runway I got "steady-steady-..." at the right spot but then the CP didn't ask for departure, had to do it myself.
Cheers,
Luc

I'd be interested to know if you get the multiple descend instructions in quick succession when using the latest beta (3.21.13)

Your altitude issues should be resolved if you go to Options 2, Advanced Options, View P3D/MSFS Options then select 'Use Calibrated Altitude Offset'

I did see this (new) option in the change log of one of the earlier Beta releases but I never experienced this before so didn't apply that.
I will give it a try.

Luc

I just did a test flight, the same FP than the one attached before and now it's working fine, no 500 FT step downs anymore.
Just an additional question, how does PF3 decide on TOD, I mostly get it too late, also this flight it was way too late so had to GA again with the usual disastrous flying, hence no log attached, too embarrassing  ;) (I guess I really should start practicing GA)
Cheers,
Luc

TOD is calculated on-the-fly and will depend on the distance to your destination, your speed and current altitude. If your flight had the TOD way too late perhaps you should adjust your flight plan in the PF3 waypoint adjustments section.

Good to know you haven't had those multiple step downs... let's hope it was the fix and not just a coincidence
