Hello Dave
TGS stopped working a while back for me, but a few weeks ago I downloaded April update and it worked for a few flights and then stopped again.
When you have a chance let me know if it can be fixed for me please

Yes, it's undoubtedly your anti-virus which has removed it due to a false positive. If you check in your AV's quarantine area you should be able to restore TGS.EXE and also tell your AV it's safe. If not just reinstall the last update again and then configure your AV NOT to scan the PF3 files.
