Hi Dave, Per your suggestion I am posting my issue here as a new topic.

In short after thousand of flight hours i have never received a response other than "Unable at this time". Asking for an instrument approach (Hotkey 2) or Vectors (Hotkey 7) always gives the Unable response... So, my question is under what circumstance can I receive the response I am seeking. Thanks, If log required, please advise

Just did an 80 mile flight and asked for vectors a few times, always unavailable. Also, Approach never handed me over to Tower for landing. Log file attached. Using X Plane 12. Many thanks.

Thanks for the log.

Hotkey #2 will only work when in contact with Approach.

With regard to Hotkey #7 you will always get 'unable at this time' if (a) you are heading toward the first waypoint in your flight plan or (b) you're in 'landing mode' which basically occurs when you're heading toward the last waypoint. Since your FP only had the two waypoints it was never going to happen. Try with another waypoint inserted between the two.

Hi Dave, Finally got my bandwidth problem sorted out with a complete reinstall of Windows. Now in order to send you a log I need to get PF3 up and running. No can do. Attached screen shot showing what runtime files I have installed. Second screen shot shows the error message I received when running PF3 as Admin. Help!

I'm assuming you did a complete reinstall of PF3, then updated to the latest version?

If that's the case something went amiss and I can only guess at it possibly being your anti virus. You need to reinstall again, under Admin, and configure your AV not to scan the PF3 files.
