Hello Dave, Thanks for reactivating me, all seems good now with TSG.
'm glad you are recovering albeit it slowly. Keep the faith bro.
As far as BeondATC, I have seen some videos on it and it does look interesting, like an enhanced version of PF3+MCE. I probably will try it in the future, but I doubt they will offer a "Try it before you Buy it" option which was such a great selling point on PF3. Seems like the initial release will be for IFR flights only so I'm not too interested in that right now. I'll continue to enjoy PF3.

Which brings up a point i have never been able to resolve. After contacting Approach on a VFR flight, Hotkey 2 asks for an instrument approach and Hotkey 7 asks for vectors. With over 1000 flight hours, the only answer ever provided is "Unable at this time." That just doesn't seem right to me, so my question is under what flight conditions would I receive the information I'm asking for?
Take your time in answering, I'm just curious. Thanks

Thank you. Please post your question on a new post in the main forum section, otherwise it could get missed. Once our heatwave has settled down I'll take a look under the hood. ;-)

Dave,

Thank you so much for all the years of PF3 and for helping me out when I have run into problems. Your attention to customer satisfaction is as awesome as the product is.

Enjoy many many years of semi-retirement.

All the best.

Dave,

I have been flightsimming for 40 years and your program is among the best that I have found and used. Your attitude and willingness to help are far and away top notch. Continuing to update the program as you find issues or improvements are found, is much appreciated.

They say the hardest thing to do is know when you have reached your pinnacle. I wish you nothing but the best in semi retirement and I know you will continue as you can and if you have time. Mostly enjoy and take care of yourself.

Thank You for all you have done for this great community.

Hi Dave,

Of all the years that I have been using PF3-ATC, I have received nothing but satisfaction from it and believe me, I am not planning to change the program.

The quality of it, the updates and constant improvements it receives and the seriousness with which you have responded to all our requests, suggestions and, why not?, criticisms, have been amazing.

I wish you the best in your retirement, because you are a true professional.

I've been using OnCourse software since S-Combo (of which you gave me a complimentary copy - can't quite recall why after all these years!) - and am not about to change now! If you feel the time has come to take things a bit easier, well, you very much deserve it. Nice to know you will still be around on the forums though. Perhaps, on the other hand, like many a 'superstar', you will find yourself missing all the glamour and pizzazz of 'public life' and soon be staging a glitzy comeback

A big thank you anyway Dave for the great software you have created (the number of flights I have made in FS9/FSX/XP11 without it could probably be counted on one hand) and the fantastic customer support you have always provided for it.

Martin

Thank you Martin for your very kind words. I still very much enjoy working on PF3 and certainly intend to continue doing so, just no major rewrites.

Hi Dave,
I just chanced to see this topic, and hadn't heard of any new ATC program. I'd just like to say I've been with you since the very early days when I did some beta testing for you, when we both were a great deal younger! As long as you stay with PF3, so will I.

Cheers, Jim
