Oops! More haste, less speed as they say.

Think this should be the correct one, sorry about that.

Hi John,

This log is indeed for a flight from KSLC to KTUS, but it may not be the one you wanted to show us - you never leave KSLC.
Anyway, I can see in this log that you pressed Ctrl/Shift/R while at KSLC to request a change of runway and received an initial response:
09/04/2024 07:07:51: 590 - ****** HotKey #13 detected!
09/04/2024 07:07:51: 990 - FS Screen : Use runway 34R - ILS ? - C/S/Y for Yes, or C/S/O for No

So the basic hotkey system appears to be working; I think Dave will need to take a closer look if you can provide another log.

Cheers,
Martin

Thanks, Martin,

To be honest I have lost the plot with archiving logs, so what you have there may have been a test I made rather than a proper flight. I can provide a full log for any flight if needed.

But given that you say that according to the log the hotkey system is doing what it should, it looks as if the messages are not displaying in the cockpit to me. I shall scour my settings to see if anything has gone adrift.

Sorted!

Somehow I had ended up with the "Multiline Display" in FSUIPC turned off. User error, no doubt, shakey hand on mouse I suspect whilst in there looking for something else. Thanks for the pointer, Martin.

So this proves that issue is nothing to do with the question over the PF3 Displayer which Doug reported. For my part it is no big issue as I only use it occasionally for un-towered airport frequencies (which still display). But apologies to Doug for dragging the subject away on a herring rouge.

I sent the most recent log and photo. Anything new I can try?

Did you forget the attachment?

No, I sent it a few weeks ago. You wanted me to replace the display.exe file with an earlier one. Still didn't work and I sent another log. I'll resend all of it again I know you are busy and may have missed it.

It has been a long time since my original problem, more than a year I think. So I thought I would go over it again.

When I open displayer it says that I need to have the sim running for it to connect and shows the data port. Of course the sim is running. I am unable to get the web version running either. I tries to connect 5 times, flips me off and shutdown.

The hotkeys work so I printed out a sheet with all of them on it to use.

Thanks

Doug

This is as infuriating for us as it is for you Doug.

I'm sure we've been over this before but let's try again. Now, when PF3 Display says it's waiting for FS to be running it's actually looking for FSUIPC. So, the question is, is FSUIPC running?

Also, please zip and attach your latest debug log PLUS the PF3_Display.INI file
