3. There is no ".Net Core" File that i can locate in the Progams/Feature file in the Control Panel.
However another runtime file "Microsoft Windows Desktop Runtime - 3.1.32(x86)" now appears.
This is the latest version of the Desktop Runtime required for the PF3 update feature to work - it supercedes 3.1.28 which is why the warning message appeared when trying to install the earlier version. Thanks for flagging this - I've updated the informational forum post to reflect the newer version.

hi Dave, I have attached what I believe to be the batch file in FSUIPC that loads FS2020. From what I can see it points to Users/Appdata/etc to Local Cache. That folder also contain several folder i.e., Packages, SimObjects, and files i.e.,SimConnect, Camera.cfg, UserCfg.opt. If this is the correct Folder please advise what I should do (uninstall/reinstall here?)

You mentioned that i do not have "any" insim windows, but I do! Pf3 opens with the list of current airport frequencies as well as a text window providing ATC messages, taxi instructions and clearance. And all messages during flight
but only from the origin airport.

Let's hope we"re on the right track.

C/S T also not working for me (see post dated 9th May '23 on this thread viewtopic.php?p=25364#p25364). I have since found a clue / workaround:

When connected to Clearance, C/S T gives the beep but the Hotkey window does not open.
If I switch to Tower, C/S T opens the Hotkey window.
If I switch back to Clearance, the Hotkey window remains open and stays open for the duration.

Also included in screenshot is the path to the PF3_Display folder that I think you are looking for (MS Store install of MSFS) which for me, just contains PF3_Freqs.dat

Thank you, Max, but unfortunately this did not work for me.
Switching from Clearnce to Tower did not open any hotkeys.

I also notice unusual files in the path, i.e., I have no file named "PF3 Display". I do have PF3 Displayer and a file called display.
I have no file called airports.fsm
I do have the csv files but a lot more than the two you use.
Thanks again but I have to pass this back to Dave March.

Please run the PF3 Validation from Options #2 and attach the output log

Attached is the validation log. My folder c:\Xbox\Games contains a 2GB Folder named Microsoft. Could that be the main FS folder???

FYI, I will be 81 on May 22. The best present I could get would be PF3 running again on my pc.

Attached is the validation log.
Unfortunately this log appears to be empty - please could you try again?

Okay, that file was okay and does show the installation is okay... although it doesn't check for general runtimes, only those files installed by the PF3 installer.

So, let's step back an summarise. Please tell me exactly what's happening (or not happening) now when you try to use PF3.
