TGS Not Working

Hi,

For my last few flights I've been unable to use TGS. It shows it as being inactive, but I've selected it in the PF3 Options 1.

I don't know what's happened because it used to work fine.

Debug Monitor log file attached. Grateful for any assistance in resolving this.

Sorry, that's an incomplete log. Maybe send me the old_debug log or wait till you have the same problem.

The log file I sent was after a flight where I had the problem, so not sure how it was incomplete. Any way, here is the old log file as requested.

Thanks for the log. Yes there was a slight problem with the route finding code but I believe that has now been fixed. Please try using the latest beta version (see link at the top of the forum)

Hi Dave,

Finally managed another flight this evening after a week spent updating lots of stuff.

Unfortunately my TGS is still not working, even after installing the update as you suggested. I still can't understand how it was working fine before and just stopped.

Have you tried running it as "Administrator"

Make sure that the TGS.exe is not running in Windows "processes(CTL-ALT-Del)". TGS is very finicky, and sometimes when you close pf3, TGS does not close with it, but keeps on running in the background processes.
If this happens, TGS will not work when you start PF3. I make a habit to check to make sure that there is no TGS.exe present in Process apps before I run PF3.

That really shouldn't happen and I thought I'd addressed that some time ago... but I'll take another look. What version of TGS are you running?

No, I just realised that I had set PF3 to run as administrator but not TGS.

I'll try again shortly and let you know what happens.
