My apologies if this has been answered.

Do I have to buy a new copy for P3D, or can I apply my FSX purchase?

You only need one copy of PF3. You can have FS9, FSX, P3D and MSFS all installed on the one machine (as I do) and your single copy of P3D will work with whatever relevant version of FSUIPC is running. If you have XPlane installed and running XPUIPC it will work with that also.

It certainly isn't corrupt! In fact it's the same file that's downloaded when anyone purchases it from our website, so I think I would have heard about it before now!

Have you tried rebooting your router?

Or maybe an issue with antivirus software?

Im able to download, open, and install the demo version...just not the full version...it keeps coming up invalid.

If I can download the demo file without a problem, it would indicate an issue with this specific file, rather than my router...I dont run AV.

Would you consider sending me the installer if I include my purchase info?

All I would do is send you the same link. It's what everyone uses. Baffling!
