Hi Dave,
Hope you and yours are keeping well and looking forward to christmas.
i have at last taken the plunge into MSFS2020.
PF3 works great as always well done.
FDC however is very quiet. The co-pilot is with me as he shouts out the odd bit of info like gear up or V1 etc. but he ignores my requests to start checklists. Probably something i've said. Anyway downloaded and added the Companion.exe file as required which allows me to connect but as I said it appears that inputs are ignored. I had the same with PF3 until I re registered it then all worked fine.
Any pointers would be great. No rush.

Kind regards
Steve

I think you might have to give me a nudge on this one after Christmas ;)

Hi Dave,
Another log with a complete flight. Might give a better idea of what is occurring.
Win 10 fully patched and latest MSFS2020. Latest FSUIPC.
I used the hotkey at several points during the flight but to no avail. Tried fresh install and tried assigning different hotkeys.
Doesn't appear to show in logs either.

Regards
Steve

Hi Dave,
I have got my co-pilot back. It would seem the hotkey is limited to the spacebar or combo + spacebar. If I reassign another key it doesn't work. I haven't tried too many keys but as the spacebar + CTRL works that will do me.
Happy New Year to you all.
Regards Steve

Oh right, well done... can't say I remember that limitation but then again it has been many, many years since I looked at FDC code in earnest.

Thanks for letting me know
