Hi. I am going to wait until this is out of beta, but could I please ask whether the recent change regarding 'check squawk code', which now starts nagging you before you have even turned on the radios (or did: I went back to an earlier version of PF3 just to get rid of this annoyance), has been returned to its former position in the proceedings? ATC giving the squawk code at clearance worked fine. If the code was not entered correctly for some reason, PF3 eventually reminded you to change it, which also worked just fine. I can't imagine why it was changed to an immediate nag as soon as the sim starts. ![]() Thanks! |

It wasn't changed to give an immediate nag, that we a bug I inadvertently introduced and yes, the problem had been fixed. At least I hope it has, but if you don't try it and report back I'll never know for sure ![]() |

Hi Dave, I am getting another nag in the beta - for the barometer setting. As with the Squawk code, if the barometer is not set to 29.92 (I assume) then PF3 tells me as soon as I get into the cockpit, before any batteries or avionics have been switched on. |
