| I just downloaded the demo version and are trying to use in msfs. I think I have all the relevant items checked,most of the program is very intuitive, but I am having difficulty with: 1. the zero key press button does nothing, despite using all default settings. 2. Except for a brief moment on start up, where I see the 2d pop up of the list of frequencies, I am not able to see any text messages, specifically the ATC controller and pilot messages. I do hear the controller and pilot voices, so I know that PF3 is connected and working. I'd like to keep msfs in full window mode and want to see the(green) text messages displayed at all times during my flight. If this is indeed possible, I'd like to know what options I may have failed to check. thank you. |

| 1. Please ensure you have removed any PF3 hotkeys from MSFS. eg. You can't have the same keyes defined in both PF3 and MSFS 2. Please attach your debug log (see read message above) so I can check your settings |

| thanks for the very quick reply. I have the program working, and a correct "taxi" clearance. However, the taxi guidance does not appear to work, despite having all the boxes checked. I am using MSFS and the demo. Apologies if the debug log does not make sense, since at one point I pressed all the keys to see if anything happened in trying to get the taxi guidance to come on. Just to clarify, I am getting correct clearance and communication up to the point of taxi, for which I would like to use the taxi guidance option before proceeding to the runway and hold. |

| Are you sure you don't have any MSFS Assist options set for the radios? |

| The ATC ( radio assist) is off. What I notice in PF3 demo option window is the absence of a voice as part of the taxi guidance . Can this be the cause? tony |

| No it's not that unfortunately. For the sake of my sanity could you please try at a different airport... one that has a Clearance control... maybe EGLL? |

| Hi Dave, I did use EGLL and everything worked fine except for Taxi Guidance. Something is not right. I am using CP mode 2 for copilot handling all communication, including Nav 1 radio frequencies. I closed the flight soon after Tower gave me the ok for departure. My flight planning starts with LIttle Navmap, exported to MSFS as a pln file. I then load the flight plan in MSFS and start the program. I then load the plan into PF3 and connect to the sim. Hope this helps. As I test various ATC program, I am gravitating to Pf3 due to its simplicity and always on top info when the sim is in full windows mode. As you are, I am frustrated with the taxi guidance not working. One question, should the visual guidance work also? Is the keyboard 1 the button to activate taxi guidance. I am assuming that , when it works, taxi guidance provides some clue that it's active, even when it's on voice only. tony |

| The reason you didn't get any taxi guidance in this particular log was due to you hitting Hotkey #1, shortly after receiving taxi instructions, which in fact aborts TGS. It's a toggle though, so had you hit it again TGS again it would have restarted. You don't have to initiate TGS, it starts automatically after you get taxi instructions, provided there is a route given. The Visual Guidance option is probably not what you're hoping for. This option simply sets up a feed which is used by the TGS Gauge and/or the TGS Display (standalone) utility |

| I tried the same flight plan, this time without pressing any keys. Unfortunately, taxi guidance did not come on. Sorry for all of this trouble. I build quadrants for the sim market, and occasionally I get a customer who has trouble making a simple usb device work, despite my best attempts. Sometimes, I cannot ever figure it out. tony |
