I haven't used the displayer in months. Probably since when you needed Widefs. Yesterday I opened it to request a change in altitude but the lights stayed red and none of the freqs were displayed. I have tried a few changes to the ini file but nothing works. If I use the displayer on another computer the frequencies show up but it doesn't respond when I change frequencies on my radio.

Here is my ini file

[Config]
PF3Server=127.0.0.1
PF3Port=1010
AcarsLeft=1
AcarsTop=1

Thanks

Doug

Try deleting the PF3 Display INI file, then rerun it to reconfigure

Tied that and it didn't work. Remote text works so I copied the server and port to display.ini. Now I get green lights but still no frequencies nor does display show commands for select radio frequency.

New display.ini

[Config]
PF3Server=127.0.0.1
PF3Port=1008
AcarsLeft=1
AcarsTop=1

Thanks

Doug

You have PF3 set to 1010, or at least you did, but now have PF3 display set to 1008?

Correct. I tried letting the ini rebuild but it didn't work. remote text worked so I used the same settings from remote test ini for display ini. The Green lights come on but I don't get frequencies nor key commands based on aircraft radio settings.

If you change the port in Display.ini to 1010 then it should work, as Dave says - I have exactly this configuration on my PC.
You can do the following to check if things are working correctly:
With FS running and PF3 connected, open a Windows command line session (Windows-R, then CMD and Enter).
At the prompt run the following command: netstat -anop TCP | find /i ":10"
This will display all of the open TCP ports with numbers starting '10' with the associated process ID; see top of screenshot below from my system - the PID should be the same for all 3 ports, in my case 4820 (I've assumed the default port numbers of 1008, 1009 & 1010).
Start pf3_display.exe and run the command again - you will see below what my system shows with PF3 Display working - the PID for PF3 display is 13712.

Please let us know what your system shows - it may help determine the nature of your problem.

Martin

Thant didn't work. I have attached the display and debug files along with a picture of what I get when I'm running the displayer.

Thanks

Hi Doug,
Did you run the netstat command that I suggested? If so, what did it show?
Unfortunately I can't see any indication in the log that you sent through confirming a connection.

Cheers,
Martin

I ran the cmd prompt and it only had two in the 10, 1008 and 1009.

I changed the display ini. 1008 and took a picture of the display in P#D.

Then I ran the cmd prompt again and no longer have any 10's, picture below.

I'm lost now.
