Hi all.. I seem to be having an issue with PF3 at the new EGLL. I can request IFR clearance ok, but when taxi clearance is requested, it crashes PF3. I have re-ran MakeRwys and re-built the PF3 database, and have also reinstalled EGLL (and then re-ran MakeRwys and rebuilt database again), but to no avail. I have tested at other airports and it works as it should do, so it seems to just be an issue with EGLL. Not sure if this is a question for you guys or the airport developers? The Debug file is attached if that helps. |

Unfortunately the log isn't show me much but it certainly does sounds like its a problem with EGLL. Is this something you purchased from the Marketplace? If you'd like to ZIP everything in your PF3\Data folder I could take a look to see if there's anything obvious that's causing the problem. The resulting file will probably be too large to attach here so you may need to use one of the free file sharing facilities and email the link direct to me. I may not get chance to look into this till tomorrow |

Hi Dave, thanks for looking into this for me. I bought EGLL direct from the developers and downloaded using their own installer (iniManager). I'll zip that folder up now and email it acrosss to you. Thank you. |

The developers replied saying they are not sure what’s happening, but there is a bug on one of the taxiways with AI so maybe in the next update this crash will be resolved. Maybe it’s linked to that bug. |

Thanks for the update. In you original post you say PF3 crashes... does it actually crash or does it hang. On my system, using your data, it took PF3 6 minutes attempting to find a suitable taxi path... eventually it gave up but it never crashed. There is obviously something amiss with the afcad file as you have confirmed with the response from the developer. PLease keep us in the loop going forward |

Yea I guess it hangs. As soon as I request taxi, PF3 shows as not responding in Task Manager. I’ve waited a few minute to see if anything happens but then have just ended up doing an end task. Thanks for looking into it. I’ll let you know when the update drops and if it works thereafter. |

Ah good, that's the same response as I get... it will complete the task but it will take a few minutes... 6 minutes on my very slow development machine which isn't really setup for simming. Good to know the airport developers are looking into the issue |

Hi Dave, hope you're well. Just to let you know they've updated the airport however I'm still having the same issues. It did complete after waiting about 10 mins though. Just have to run that request while I'm setting everything else up I guess ![]() |
