Post subject: | Weird ATC directions right after takeoff |
First of all, logfile. I went yolo and attached everything, just in case ![]() So. I was starting from EPLL to EPWA with DASH Q400. Set up the route using PFPX just like so ![]() Got the notification that some waypoints are too close, yet, it usually wasn't giving me any problems. I've proceeded to fly. All went well, till ATC gave me a notice that I'm xx miles from the airport. That was weird. Then ATC gave me an instruction to turn right heading 235 (or so I remember). Yet after 'rogering' my pilot said "turn left heaving 070. Firstly I ignored it. When ATC nagged me again to turn right 235, and after 'rogering' yet again to turn left 070 I promptly turned to 235. And continued to fly straight. I was meant to fly East, but continued going south-west. After some time I just quit and went sleep. Please help me find out what was going on, and/or what I was doing wrong? |

Your SID/DP ends when you reach the assigned altitude or the end of SID/DP waypoint *defaults to the first waypoint), at which point you would normally continue your flight with the next waypoint. In your case EVEPU, even though you reach your assigned altitude just before the first waypoint |
