Ah, FSUIPC is showing in the log now... one more step forward. However, you are still not tuning to the correct frequency. The frequencies for EGLL are

Grd - 121.7
Twr - 118.5
Clr - 121.97
App - 119.72
Dep - 119.57

You can get PF3 to auto tune to the first frequency using the Advanced INI file options... under COMs, choose 'Auto Tune to Initial Facility'

First of all, unless PF3 displays correct frequencies, I can not tune to it. I wont know these for every airport.
I dont see any frequency information of PF3 screen
I autotuned clearance frequency as you suggested. When I hit 0 button it gives initial clearance but again when I press 0 button to acknowledge it and nothing happens afterwards. No sound at all.

Best wishes
Ash

You don't use Hotkey #0 to respond to ATC! The default 'roger' key is Crtl+Shift+\

Ok but the problem still does not go. No frequency display t onkwo which one to tune, no sound and no further ATC contact.

Best wishes

Let's take one step at a time... otherwise I get confused

We're now seeing FSUIPC in the log file so that's good and it shows that FSUIPC IS running, which it wasn't before. And re your previous comments FSUIPC does NOT start automatically with FS like it used to in previous versions of FS. It only does so when you use the startup batch file provided by the FSUIPC installer program.

Next issue... no sound... well now you have FSUIPC running I can see a lot more in the log file and It appears you have some system DirectX files missing so would suggest the following:

Download the Microsoft DirectX for Managed Code Runtimes, using the following link:-

http://www.ocs-support.co.uk/downloads/ ... ntimes.zip

Once downloaded you need to unzip the content into a temporary folder anywhere on your system, then run the downloaded EXE. You will be prompted for a location to copy the extracted files into, so just choose the same temp folder.

Once that's done go into the temp folder and right-click the 'DXSetup.exe' program and then select 'Run as Administrator'

This will NOT alter any of your currently installed DirectX files but merely installs any missing runtimes in parallel
Once the DirectX Runtimes are installed please try running PF3 again and connecting to FS and let me know what happens. You can also delete the downloaded runtimes and temp folder if you wish

Once we have this sound issue sorted we'll take a look at anything else

Thanks a lot Dave for your patience and tolerating me.
all sorted and good. I can now see all frequencies, hear instructions and works exactly like real ATC.

Very grateful to you.

Best wishes
Ash
