Hello everyone. After updating to version 3.10.50, I find I can no longer see close captioning messages in the P3D4 SimConnect Message Window (the clear window that replaces FS9/FSX AdvDisplay). I find I can only see it when TGS is enabled or disabled. I can't either select another runway for departure, as I used to. Or at least, I'm not offered any options after pressing Ctrl+Shift+W. I don't feel like using the dark PF3 Captions Window, because I don't know how to set a hotkey to open/close it at will.

I'm attaching my Logs folder and also my PF3.ini. For reference, my keyboard layout is Spanish. I'm sure I'm doing something wrong, but I can't see what. How can I fix these issues?

Looks like you need to do the following....

Go to Options #2, then select Advanced Options, then select View P3D/MSFS Options

Now select Use PF3 Captions Window (under Captions Window), Use PF3 Hotkeys Window (under Hotkeys Window) and ACARS Window (under PF3 Information Messages). Once these three options have been selected select Save Changes.

Try another flight and let us know how you get on

I've tried as indicated. However, all ATC communications are in the PF3 captions window, not in the SimConnect one (as used to be). I haven't tried yet changing runways.

Effectively, all my runway change or direct to requests don´t end up in the SimConnect Message Window, but the ACARS one.

Now I've got another issue: I can´t close the Hotkey window, despite pressing several times the assigned hotkey for this. Now I have a black window bothering...

If you don't want to use the ACARS window go to Options #2, then select Advanced Options, then select View P3D/MSFS Options

Now select FS Msg Window (under PF3 Information Messages).

Select Save Changes.

With regard closing the Hotkeys Window, are you using the default Hotkey sequence (Ctrl+Shift+T). Have you tried setting a delay to close the window automatically?

Thanks for your reply, Dave. I've tried again today, with no ACARS window (but still PF3 Captions window, with a 1-sec close delay) and all ATC messages appear in both PF3 and SimConnect message windows. I'll try tomorrow with another flight, with no PF3 Captions window.

Well, with all your changes and deselecting the PF3 message window, now the messages appear as they used to be. Thank you very much!
