| I am about to try a long flight, however I may wish to land at a destination that is not my destination in my flight plan. Is it possible to alter the destination in PF3 whilst you are enroute. Many thanks. |

| You can designate an alternate airport at the time you load your flight plan. This does not necessarily need to be an airport close to your original destination. You can then make a request to divert to your alternate during the flight. See p. 34 of the User Guide as well as hotkey codes for more info. I think the only other way would be to declare an Emergency in which case you are simply given instructions for the nearest airport. |
