Hi, during my last VFR flight from LSGL (elev. 2041') to LSPM (elev. 3238'), flight level was 5500', I get the instruction to descent to 2000'. That's a little bit too low to make a safe landing. Maybe it will be possible to change the calculation of the approach altitude so it will be at least e.g. 1500' above the elevation of the destination airport. Kind regards Wolfgang |

Have you tried adding a minimum FAF altitude for that airport on the SID/STAR page? |

I've nothing entered in the SID/STAR page. Thought it's not important because it was a VFR flight. But I found the following lines in the debug_monitor.log file:

The PF FAF Alt is not something I calculate... it's passed over from ProFlight, so I will have to intercept and check it. In the meantime you can set the minimum altitude for that airport on the SID/STAR page and see if that helps... it certainly should ![]() |

Thanks, setting the minimum altitude works. But it would be nice if PFE can correct such apparently wrong altitudes. Kind regards Wolfgang |
