Post subject:  remotetext.exe wont run

Hi I just started to try out PF3 and I am still in the demo mode.
My flightSim situation is as followed . Main PC for FSX and Prosim. 1 PC for SIOC and some prosim modules and 1 PC “general” for navigraph and skyforce and some prosim modules and others. All PC are in a networked setup and everything works fine.
I installed PF3 on the general PC and it runs ok. My problem is that remotetext.exe will not start on the network PC . I did try it on the SIM pc and also on the SIOC pc. It only starts and works on the PC where PF3 is installed. SIOC pc is offline and there is no antivirus running or so.
All the required settings for remotetext to work are set as described in the manual. The problem is that the remotetext.exe wont run at all.
I do hope you have a clue why?

thanks and regards

Try copying the PF3_Display_Runtimes.exe from your main PF3 folder to the client pc you wish to run RemoteText on and right-slick and select 'Run as Administrator'... it only takes a few seconds to run... now try RemoteText again.

Please let us know how you get on

Okay, please download, unzip and run the attached PFE_Runtimes... that should sort it
