Hi (I really enjoy this ATC. Great work) few teething problems at first managed to get around some of themBTW
Managed to do a whole flight GCLP to EGNM and loaded the flightplan successfully, hat to remap all the hotkeys as it seems PF3 does not recognize the keys I pressed (such as c s \) or (c s T)
The issues I have is PF3_does not display at all as well and a ACARS window displaying the frequencies for the current airport I in having to use navigraph to get the frequencies.
I tried loading it in the folder but does not display just disappears
PF3 config file
[Config]
PF3Server=0.0.0.0
PF3Port=1010
AcarsLeft=1
AcarsTop=1

I have downloaded the PF3 runtimes still does not pop up
I am also not hearing any ATC chatter

Cheers for any Advice
Jamie

PF3Server=0.0.0.0

That should be set to either the computer name or IP address of the PC running PF3

According to you attached log you are still experiencing sound problems which require tou to install the DirectX runtimes, as I advised in an earlier post:-
Quote:
It appears you have some system DirectX files missing so would suggest the following:

Download the Microsoft DirectX for Managed Code Runtimes, using the following link:-

https://www.microsoft.com/en-gb/downloa ... x?id=15478

Once downloaded you need to create a temporary folder anywhere on your system, then run the downloaded EXE. You will be prompted for a location to copy the extracted files into, so just choose the temp folder you just created.

Once that's done go into the temp folder and right-click the 'DXSetup.exe' program and then select 'Run as Administrator'

This will NOT alter any of your currently installed DirectX files but merely installs any missing runtimes in parallel
Once the DirectX Runtimes are installed please try running PF3 again and connecting to FS and let me know what happens. You can also delete the downloaded runtimes and temp folder if you wish

When you install the runtimes are you following the instructions I gave... I have know some users to just extract the files and not actually run the DirectX installer?

Yep I extracted the file to a temp folder, then went into the temp folder and installed it, prior to installing that file I could not hear anything now I can hear ATC but not the chatter.

Thanks

Ah, now I see it... there's some bad data in one of the AI aircraft callsigns... here's how it's listed

23/01/2021 14:15:22 - 124.55: ID 2442 - Initial contact from TUI Air[5 on 132.15

That's a very strange callsign! It#s the reason you don't hear anything from AI Traffic. However, that's the only one I can see. Problem is there's very little AI coming through in FS2020 and it's one of the issues we're all waiting for Asobo to fix. Did yo uread the 'Known Issues' document in your PF3\Help folder ?

Certainly not as far as chatter goes, which is going to be very scarce, especially at airports. I will try and correct the bad callsigns on the fly.

Other than the ATC chatter what other issues are you still experiencing?

Cheers, just the hotkeys assignments PF3 doesnt recognise the input such as C S \ FOR ROGER OR C S = FOR REPEAT, C S T WHILE IN FLIGHT, not sure why that is. Still trying to find alternate buttons really anything that does not conflict with the sim. I also in the options menu select use remote text does not pop up automatically have to select the file. Also selected USE PF3 DISPLAY, does not show up automatically, I have selected use remote acarsx as I have a second monitor. In the Advanced options in the ini file tweaks use PF3 Hotkey window which does not load. Also lol have to load the TGS from the file hotkey selection either n0 1 or 2 (cant remember which one) does not work,

Thanks for all the support
Jamie
