Hi I seem to have trouble with PF3 on MSFS 2020 I load a flight plan connect to the sim, it says flight plan loads then it disappears then no display screen happens or options..very confused. I have gone through all the different options i.e use remote text, use pf3 display and acars window. I downloaded it with admin rights and load it with admin rights and it downloaded on my C drive.

If anyone can help be much appreciated.

I did use the programme with previous flight sim

Kind Regards

Jamie

It appears you have some system DirectX files missing so would suggest the following:

Download the Microsoft DirectX for Managed Code Runtimes, using the following link:-

https://www.microsoft.com/en-gb/downloa ... x?id=15478

Once downloaded you need to create a temporary folder anywhere on your system, then run the downloaded EXE. You will be prompted for a location to copy the extracted files into, so just choose the temp folder you just created.

Once that's done go into the temp folder and right-click the 'DXSetup.exe' program and then select 'Run as Administrator'

This will NOT alter any of your currently installed DirectX files but merely installs any missing runtimes in parallel
Once the DirectX Runtimes are installed please try running PF3 again and connecting to FS and let me know what happens. You can also delete the downloaded runtimes and temp folder if you wish

Thank you so much but seems to still have various problems the acars window now loads got clearance delivery to destination and can hear atc now. None of the hot keys work, such as ctrl+shift+\ to confirm pushback and start or engine start.

use remote text is deselected
PF3 Display is checked socket port 1010 does not shown on connection
also use remote Acarsx selected as I have a second monitor
Hotkey window also selected which the window does not show up, and none of the hot keys work apart from 0 or 1 not sure what I am doing wrong.

Kind Regards

Jamie

According to the log you only ran FS for 3 minutes and in that time you only used one hotkey (C/S/0), after that FS stopped or probably crashed because PF3 certainly couldn't see it.

I think it might be advisable to update to the latest version of FSUIPC

Hi I have downloaded the latest fsuipc registered version, as requested.
Tried another flight GCLP -Egnm
Downloaded flight plan
I hear two chimes. Then 2 screens appear

1) Arcars notams
loaded fp: engm to gclp - cosed caption on -vcp mode 2 tas 6000 / 6000
end of transmision

2) Recent atc transmission log that is it

I pressed 0 key and got another screen
0) ready to/continue to taxi
1) Toggle TGS on/off
2) desination acars Atis
5) Request Taxi to Stand
6) Request radio check
and so forth

I pressed 0 request taxi....ACARS NOTAMS com freq 121.7 <> Clearance freq 125
End of tansmission. Tuned in 121.7 pressed 0 asked to enter clearance delivery 125.0
which I did...checked in gave me initial atitude and sqwak code, it wont let me confirm or read back by pressing the hotkeys...
it also read out the ATIS
then tuned in ground. pressed ready to/continue Taxi "jetblue 74 push and start approved. Report when ready to taxi" again cant readback or confirm no buttons work and two screens up the option and the conversation...It does not want to seem to work smoothly, and on connecting only one screen appears. hotkey cs W works "ACARS NOTAMS not available till runway been assigned End of transmission" press 0 again approving for push and start but cant confirm...I just dont think the software works on my computer. Dont think I am going to get to the bottom of this

I'm sorry to say but at looking at the latest log you simply aren't listening to ATC. You tuned to Ground and requested Push & Start, they told you to contact Clearance on 125.00, which you didn't do, you just continued to request Push & Start. You did that several times but then eventually tuned to Clearance and checked in. However, at no time did you use the 'Roger' hotkey (according to the log).

Maybe there's a problem with certain keys being recognised on your keyboard. Try changing the Roger key to something else and try again.

Thanks for reply I am pressing C S \ BUTTON but nothing is happening I dont know why its not going in the log, i pressed it about 10 times, even when I press c s T button nothing happens. I thought all the screens should load automatically as well such as the frequency page which does not load, I even changed hotkey C S \ TO JUST C \...It doesnt seem to recognise the input.

thanks for your support, what I will do is go through all the hot keys and remap them, although the frequency page is not showing automatically either
