| Hi Dave, this time I have only three suggestions. First while flying a VFR flight sometimes ATC request to change to IFR. To do this I have to leave the center frequency and tune in FSS because only there you can change the flight rule. After changing to IFR I tune in center again to go on with the normal flight procedure (don't know it this is necessary). Maybe it's possible to change the flight rule regardless of the active frequency (center or FSS). Second sometimes I was instructed to call center on frequency X when X is already the active center frequency. So in fact no frequency change takes place and it seems to be redundant. And the third is a really easy one. It's easier to read the position report if there's a space between the call sign and the distance. At the moment it looks like that: "Icebird 44122 miles from Charlie Charlie Sierra at 0834 local" where 22 is the distance. Kind regards Wolfgang |
