I tried that Dave but it did not work.
I get a message saying FS should be running before PF3 but it is.
I also have FSUIPC for MSFS running.
Thanks

John, I could take a look using TeamViewer if you wish? Please email me direct if you do and we'll arrange a mutually convenient time.

Im getting the same problem. same messages but using P3d V4.5. Only happens after running the updater to update to the current version. Also tried the pf3 register and left for 10 seconds.
Connects OK if I run it before updating. Any info to get it working .
Got this message in the updates folder of PF3

Dave logged into my PC for quite a long time but was unable to find the problem.
As I am using the Demo perhaps Dave could send me a link to an older version to try?

No that's not a problem... you're running 3.10.3 so there's nothing to find in the updates file

First thing I would like you to try is download the Microsoft DirectX for Managed Code Runtimes, using the following link:-

https://www.microsoft.com/en-gb/downloa ... x?id=15478

Once downloaded you need to create a temporary folder anywhere on your system, then run the downloaded EXE. You will be prompted for a location to copy the extracted files into, so just choose the temp folder you just created.

Once that's done go into the temp folder and right-click the 'DXSetup.exe' program and then select 'Run as Administrator'

This will NOT alter any of your currently installed DirectX files but merely installs any missing runtimes in parallel

The error you're getting is not normally associated with these runtimes but the DLL causing the issue does deal with all the PF3 DirectX audio so I'm just hoping there may be something missing that this will fix.

So, after the DirectX Runtimes are installed please try running PF3 again and connecting to FS and let me know what happens. You can also delete the downloaded runtimes and temp folder if you wish

Installed the direct x runtime files and now connects to fs ok. however nothing else happens after its connected, just a message saying TGS is active. NO window appears when I press 0 on the keyboard and no frequencies to select and no ATC sounds. running latest version of FSUIPC.
Not sure what I am doing wrong, PF3 interface is showing as connected.

regards

Please zip and attach the debug_monitor.log from the PF3\Logs folder to your post

Hi Dave
Thank you for the info. I had the same problem as rdlepage so have attached my debugmonitor log.
When I installed the DXsetup it also installed .NET Framework 3.5 (includes .NET 2.0 and 3.0)
Available now for login if you wish.
Cheers
