| Hello, PF3 vectored me to the departure runway correctly after declaring an emergency. Once the approach controller cleared me for the final approach runway 10 at TNCM he came back after a minute and assigned a heading of 065 and left me on that heading. | Thanks for the report and for including the logd. Certainly a bad instruction given but since Approach had cleared you a told you to contact Tower when established, that's what you should have done. Remember Captain Sullenberger telling ATC he couldn't comply each time they told him to turn this way and that...  Anyway, I'm checking it out but it may take a a day or so |
