During step climb the last altitude before the final cruising altitude tends to be -1000 feet below the final FL. The problem is that altitude is for traffic coming in the opposite direction. For instance, if my final cruise is FL340 ATC may give me FL330 before clearing me to FL340. In this case the interim altitude should be FL320 to ensure RVSM separation.

I've had ATC give me such interim altitudes while another aircraft was coming in the opposite direction which made for some fancying flying requirements. SO if it's possible to amend the logic to ensure the step climbs respect the appropriate east / west RVSM altitudes that would be wonderful. Or at least ensure that whatever the altitude is input in the PF3 flight plan, then just subtract 2000 feet in the logic instead of only 1000 feet.

Hope this makes sense, and thanks for the recent update BTW.
